Displaying Purchased Items with [wpkin_items] (Pro)

The [wpkin_items] shortcode displays a formatted table of everything the customer purchased, including product names, quantities, and individual prices. It’s one of the most powerful Pro shortcodes for building a complete order summary page.

What It Displays

When placed on your custom Thank You page, [wpkin_items] renders a table with three columns:

  • Product Name: The name of each item in the order
  • Quantity: How many of each item were purchased
  • Price: The line item price, formatted with currency

How to Use It

Simply add the shortcode wherever you want the items table to appear on your page:

[wpkin_items]

In Elementor, place it inside a Shortcode widget. In Gutenberg, use a Shortcode block.

Styling the Items Table

The table output uses standard HTML table markup, so you can style it with custom CSS in your theme’s customiser or through your page builder’s custom CSS field.

Example CSS to give the table a clean look:

.wpkin-items-table {
  width: 100%;
  border-collapse: collapse;
}
.wpkin-items-table td,
.wpkin-items-table th {
  padding: 10px 12px;
  border-bottom: 1px solid #e5e5e5;
}
.wpkin-items-table th {
  font-weight: bold;
  background: #f9f9f9;
}

Example Use Cases

Order Confirmation Page

Show the customer exactly what they ordered, acting as an on-page receipt alongside the email confirmation.

Digital Product Access Page

List what digital products the customer purchased, then show their download links below using [wpkin_downloads].

Upsell Page

Show what they bought, then present a relevant “customers also bought” or upsell offer right beneath the items list.

Pro tip: Pair [wpkin_items] with [wpkin_item_count] for a heading like “You ordered [wpkin_item_count] items” above the table for a polished, professional feel.
