What counts as one domain?
One live WordPress installation running WooCommerce. Staging and development sites do not count towards your limit.
Can I move up a plan later?
Yes, at any time. You pay only the difference between your current plan and the new one, prorated to your billing period.
Is the lifetime licence really for life?
Yes. You pay once and get every future update for as long as the plugin exists, with no renewal. The only reason to pay again is if you want more site licences.
What if I go over my domain limit?

What does Shop Manager actually do?
It puts a dashboard on the front of your own website where you handle orders, print packing slips and labels, add tracking numbers, edit products and look after customers. Everything you normally do in the WordPress admin, in one place that is built for the job.
Do I need WooCommerce?
Yes. Shop Manager is built on top of WooCommerce and reads your existing orders, products and customers. It does not work with other shop plugins.
Is the free version a trial?
No. The free version has no time limit and no credit card. You get the dashboard, full order management including creating and editing orders, bulk actions, product editing, customers with automatic tagging, live analytics with insight cards, printing, shipping labels, tracking for 151 couriers, staff accounts and CSV export, for as long as you like.
What do I get if I upgrade to Pro?
Pro adds the AI chat assistant and AI product writing, PDF invoices, unlimited custom order statuses, custom staff roles and priority support.
Will it break my theme or my shop?
No. Shop Manager runs on its own page, created for you at activation, and does not touch your shop design or your checkout. Nothing else about your site changes.
Can my staff use it without a WordPress admin login?
Yes, and that is rather the point. You add each person as an employee, choose what they are allowed to see and do, and they work entirely from the frontend dashboard. Your admin credentials stay with you.
Do the AI features cost extra?
Shop Manager never charges extra for AI. For the two features that write text, the AI chat assistant and AI product writing, you bring your own key from Anthropic, OpenAI or Google and pay that provider directly, usually one to five dollars a month for an average shop. Customer auto-tagging and the dashboard insight cards are in the free version and are rule-based, so they need no key and cost nothing to run.
Is my API key safe?
Yes. Keys are AES-256 encrypted with your WordPress secret keys before they are stored, and the real key is never sent to the browser, returned by the API, or written to a log file.
Does printing need a PDF plugin?
No. Printing orders, packing slips and shipping labels all happen in your browser, in the free version, with nothing else installed.
Does it work with High-Performance Order Storage?
Yes. Shop Manager is fully compatible with WooCommerce HPOS, which has been the default since WooCommerce 8.0.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Pro features switch off and custom staff roles stop working, but every order, product, customer and setting stays exactly where it is. Renew and it all comes back.
